GEXBoard ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

1. What Data We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the Service:

• Email address — collected when you subscribe or sign in. Used for account management, billing, and product updates.
• Subscription status — whether your subscription is active and which plan tier you are on. Managed through Stripe.
• Usage data — anonymous request logs (IP address, timestamp, endpoint) retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes only.

We do not collect names, payment card numbers (handled entirely by Stripe), browsing history, or any other personal data beyond what is listed above.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To manage your account and subscription
• To send product updates, release notes, and service-related communications
• To respond to support requests sent to contact@gexboard.com
• To detect and prevent abuse or unauthorized access to the Service

We do not use your data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or any purpose not listed above.

3. Third-Party Services

We share your personal data with the following third parties only to the extent necessary to operate the Service:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management. GEXBoard never stores payment card numbers. All billing data is handled by Stripe under their own Privacy Policy.
• MailerLite — transactional email delivery. Your email address may be stored on MailerLite's servers for the purpose of sending service communications. See MailerLite's Privacy Policy.

Market data displayed on GEXBoard is sourced from licensed third-party market data providers. These providers do not receive any of your personal data — they only receive API requests from our servers with no user-identifying information attached.

4. Cookies

We use cookies minimally and only for functional purposes:

• gxb_sub — set after a successful subscription to identify your active session and grant dashboard access. This is a functional cookie required for the Service to work.
• gxb_owner — set only for the site administrator to access internal bypass features. Not set for regular users.

We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party cookie services (such as Google Analytics).

5. Data Retention

Your email address is retained for as long as your account or waitlist entry is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing contact@gexboard.com. Anonymous usage logs are deleted after 30 days.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption in transit and access controls. No system is 100% secure; we encourage you to use a unique password for any account you create.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@gexboard.com and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email if you are a subscriber. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
